Jerry Gilbert, MD was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Orange County, California. After graduating with an undergraduate degree from The University of Southern California, he attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical School and completed Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the Baylor College of Medicine/St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital/Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology and has a special interest in Preventative Cardiology. He enjoys engaging with patients in shared decision making with regard to the prevention of cardiovascular disease and its complications.
In his spare time, he enjoys college football and basketball, outdoor sports and activities, and travel with his family.
