About Robert J Wozniak

Robert Wozniak, MD, earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D. C. He went on to complete an internship and residency training in internal medicine, as well as his fellowship training in Cardiology at the Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Dr. Wozniak is the recipient of the Thomas F. Keliher Award in Internal Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and has been honored as an Outstanding Teacher – Family Practice Service, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Dr. Wozniak has served as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and the Cardiac Care Unit at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, where he was also a committee member for the Departments of Critical Care and Tissue Committee. In 2004, he was honored as the American Heart Association Provider of the Year.

Dr. Wozniak is trained in general cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, PTCA, coronary stenting, peripheral vascular angioplasty and stenting, rotational, laser, and SilverHawk atherectomy, and pacemaker implantation. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Wozniak is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.
