About Manish S Chauhan
Manish S. Chauhan, MD, FACC, earned his medical degree and completed his residency with honors from Seth G S Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital at Bombay University, Bombay, India. He completed his residency and fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He was on the faculty of the Lahey Clinic in Boston as an interventional cardiologist, where he also served as Director of the Research and Clinical Trials Program. Dr. Chauhan has served on the staff of the Biometrics Department at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Clinical Research Institute in Boston.
Dr. Chauhan specializes in interventional cardiology including cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, carotid artery stenting and structural heart procedures such as ASD/PFO closure. He also practices general and non-invasive cardiac and vascular medicine. Dr. Chauhan heads the clinical research and new technology program for CST and is actively involved in several clinical trials of new devices and pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Chauhan is involved in developing new patient engagement tools and is a consultant for medical device and research companies. He continues to teach students and interns and actively participates in community services and is a board member of Miracle Foundation, a non-profit supporting orphanages.
Dr. Chauhan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and a Fellow of the Society of Vascular Medicine and Biology. Dr. Chauhan is a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Chauhan is fluent in English and Hindi.
